Officials in Stamford are seeking information about the nature of a collapse of a fifth-floor outdoor terrace at the site of The Allure on Pacific Street, which remains under investigation.

“At this time, the City has no reason to believe that there are any immediate risks to similar buildings in the South End, however, the Buildings and Fire Departments have been ordered to conduct visual inspections of other similar locations, and the Engineering Department is determining what additional information the City needs from the building owners,” officials said in a statement.

No injuries were reported, and no property was damaged.

During the investigation, garage floors 3 and 4 at The Allure will remain closed until further notice, they noted.

Any resident or visitor who notices an unsafe condition at the building has been instructed to call 911 or the Stamford Police Department at (203) 977-4444.
